The Flippress publishing company possesses and manages one of the most rich and extensive photo archives. The lengthy classification, recording and processing of the material brings out content of historical value that includes published and previously unknown pictures by many photographers covering various events and topics such as politics, social, sports, artists, landscapes and other. More specifically, there are more than 200,000 frames (original film negatives) depicting a wide range of events in Greece and abroad from 1964 to 2004.
We are called upon not only to preserve this valuable heritage, but more than that, to highlight and deliver it to future generations. After all, this is the main aim of our effort.
FLIPPRESS publications have already released an album with rare photos of the events of 1973 and, in collaboration with the KALLICHORON cultural company, they organize thematic exhibitions to promote the entire archive.
